Well card games are played at the bridge club events thingy, lol

Didn't do badly, didn't do amazing, pretty good for my first draft/sealed draft tournament in 4 years, lol

Got owned on the sealed draft because I got my creature/land/spell ratio wrong and that just killed me, not to mention a couple of the spells I was running were too iffy =/

Appart from that though, I paid like 55 between all the events and ended up with 2 rares worth 30 dollars combined, total 11 rares and a crap load of cards I wanted for my decks =D

Made a couple of new friends too so yeah, all around great day! One of them told me I should start going to the FNM he goes to so I was like yay!

haha yeah, well I had fun, might as well pull up pictures of my money draws, since I think 6 of them together would probably go for about 50-60+ plus they all look very pretty =D

Oh on Ally's, they turned out to be fantastic in limited, not sure about constructed, but apparently a dude running a 5 colour ally deck in limited went undefeated in his games =/

mm those same-creature abilities seem really imba if you have those kinds of decks ..

and that 1/1 rare seems uber gay lol. only costs one too. epic.

limited = format where you're given boosters on the spot and you make a deck out of them

constructed = deck premade within the constraints of particular formats, where Type 2 is Standard and within type 2 only the two most recent blocks are legal.

vintage = nuts, I'm pretty sure it's anything goes which is, from magics history, pretty friggin insane.


As for the cards I threw up, Ionia is being considered for reanimation, considering if she hits the table in any way shape or form she pretty much wins the game. Obsidian Fireheart is just cool, probably will see use but might not, hard to say so far. Scute mob is killer, the block it's in is all about building up lands so it's a cheap late game "must answer" card. Then yeah, Luminarch ascension, lol, not only insane in multiplayer in that it can pop turn 3 4/4 angels for 2, but also well...4/4 angels for 2! lol, if you can go 4 turns without damage, white can do that.


Then again this set has loads of money rares in it, I know there are a fair few I want, lol.
